TN seeks to postpone new road-sign rules

Tennessee's congressional delegation is working to change federal road-sign regulations that have local officials seeing red. Republican Reps. Scott DesJarlais and Chuck Fleischmann introduced a bill Tuesday (their first since taking office) that would waive federal deadlines requiring local authorities to replace all road signs with new reflective signs by 2018. Republican Sens. Lamar Alexander and Bob Corker introduced a similar bill in the Senate last week.
