(WASHINGTON, D.C.) –Congressman Scott DesJarlais (R-TN-04) announced today that he will be chairing the House Armed Services Strategic Forces Subcommittee.

DesJarlais was tapped to lead the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Strategic Forces for the 119^th U.S. Congress. This committee deals with Department of Defense and Department of Energy policies related but not limited to: strategic deterrence, strategic stability, nuclear weapons, missile defense, and space.
