Rep. DesJarlais talks Tenn. issues

Education standards, economic growth and health care remain some of the biggest battles lawmakers face both in Washington and Tennessee. U.S. Rep. Scott DesJarlais, R-Tenn., was in Columbia Friday and said he has heard a lot of concerns from parents and teachers about the new Common Core standards being implemented in Tennessee and other states during the past week he spent in Tennessee.
