On Thursday, May 31, 2012, Representative Scott DesJarlais (TN-04) met with students from Williamson County in Washington, D.C.  Among other educational activities, these students enjoyed a tour of the United States Capitol organized by Congressman DesJarlais’ office to witness the legislative process first-hand.

“It is extremely encouraging to see Tennessee students here in Washington learning about their government,” said Representative DesJarlais. “Their presence always serves as a reminder of our duty to leave the next generation with a country that has the same remarkable opportunities as the one that we inherited from the last generation.”

Note: The Office of Congressman DesJarlais gladly provides assistance to individual constituents as well as student groups interested in tours of the United States Capitol.  Please visit desjarlais.house.gov for more information on booking tours.
