The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee has announced that the Committee will convene for a hearing, “Benghazi: Exposing Failure and Recognizing Courage,” on Wednesday, May 8 at 11:30 AM in 2154 Rayburn House Office Building.
“The Obama Administration has yet to offer a clear and credible explanation of the events that occurred surrounding the Benghazi terrorist attacks,” said Representative DesJarlais. “The information put out by the administration has been dictated by politics rather than the responsibility to inform the American people of the truth.”
“This hearing will expose new facts and details that the Obama Administration has tried to suppress and cover up. The House Oversight Committee, under the leadership of Chairman Issa, has already brought to light several inaccuracies in the administration’s version of the events that occurred before, during and after that tragic day.”
Congressman DesJarlais is available for Interviews before and after the hearing.
