On Thursday, August 18th, Representative Scott DesJarlais (TN-04) announced the launch of his “Listening to Tennessee” tour. The tour will be composed of public listening sessions with residents across Tennessee’s Fourth Congressional District. This tour is part of an ongoing effort by the congressman to solicit ideas and opinions from his constituents on important policy issues being debated in Washington, D.C.

“Having a chance to meet with and hear from constituents is a critical part of being a Member of Congress and is a top priority of mine,” said Rep. DesJarlais. “Whether it is through daily conversations with individuals on Facebook or sitting down with business leaders during my Tennessee Job Creators Tour, I look to the people of Tennessee’s Fourth Congressional District for guidance as to how to best represent them in Congress. Fortunately for me, I’m blessed with a well-informed, vocal constituency that has presented me with no shortage of ideas on how we can get our nation back on the right fiscal track and start creating jobs. I look forward to people coming out and continuing the conversation.”
