LYNNE DAVIS JOINS REP. SCOTT DESJARLAIS' MURFREESBORO OFFICE AS FIELD REPRESENTATIVE

MURFREESBORO, TENN. –  Lynne Davis, a lifelong resident of Rutherford and Bedford Counties, whose family has farmed the area for generations, has joined Congressman Scott DesJarlais’ Murfreesboro office as Field Representative to the two counties, he announced today.

Davis will help Tennesseans seeking social security, veterans benefits and other assistance from federal agencies to navigate often complex rules, as well as document their comments and concerns about local and national issues. Before joining Rep. DesJarlais’ staff, Davis was an award-winning realtor with her own small business. “Her history in Middle Tennessee and passion for our people and great state make Lynne a perfect addition to the team,” said Rep. DesJarlais (TN-04).

“She has experience serving clients and a strong desire to continue Tennessee’s amazing progress,” he said. “Everyone who meets her will instantly understand why we wanted Lynne to join our staff, working hard to improve Tennesseans’ lives.”

Rep. DesJarlais’ Murfreesboro office is located at 305 W. Main Street. Constituents with questions or requests should call (615) 896-1986 for assistance.

Today at his Winchester office, Rep. DesJarlais will award Congressional Commendations to Hannah Bailey, a McMinnville student who completed advanced outdoors training with the Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts and organized community service efforts. At Magnolia Hill Manor in Winchester, he will announce the winner of the 2019 Congressional Art Competition for high school students in Tennessee’s Fourth District.

During a congressional recess, Rep. DesJarlais has been touring the large district. Last week, he visited NHC Healthcare in Dunlap to congratulate staff for their Award for Excellence for improving rural health care.
